Hail Holy Queen
"Salve Regina" (Hail Holy Queen) - These are the first words and title of the best known and perhaps most frequently sung antiphon of Our Lady. The Salve Regina was the first hymn to have been sung in the New World by the sailors accompanying Christopher Columbus in 1492. Just as sailors in the Middle Ages sang the Salve at the end of the day, so too did the laity join monks and friars in an evening Salve. This hymn to Our Lady has been greatly loved since the Middle Ages. In it, Mary is praised as the Mother of Mercy, an advocate who will help the faithful through the exile of earthly life.

Itinerary
Day 1: Depart the USA on your flight to Lisbon, Portugal. Meals will be served on the overnight flight.
Day 2: "Boa Vinda!" That's "Welcome!" in Portuguese. After arriving in Lisbon, our Tour Director welcomes us with a beautiful smile and escorts us through the mountainous central region of the Serra de Aire toward Fatima, which was once a remote village of the Moors. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.
Day 3: Today marks the Anniversary of the Apparition of Our Lady of Fatima. Let us be thankful and celebrate this wonderful invitation from Our Blessed Mother of being able to experience what occurred here many years ago. We will celebrate Mass at the Chapel of the Apparitions (Capelinha), located at the Cova da Iria, pray the Rosary, and witness the Blessing of the Sick, followed by a walking tour. After dinner, we will participate in the Candlelight Procession where pilgrims from around the world unite to pray to Our Lady of the Rosary. Dinner and overnight in Fatima.
Day 4: Today we continue our journey to Madrid, the capital of Spain, where we will enjoy a city tour. Dinner and overnight in Madrid.
Day 5: Travel to Torreciudad and Zaragoza. Dinner and overnight in Zaragoza.

Day 7:		 Today we travel to Barcelona on the Mediterranean, for a panoramic city tour; then, we continue on to Montserrat, a spectacularly beautiful Benedictine mountain retreat.

A free day to do as you wish in Montserrat. Not only is Montserrat Monastery of significant religious importance but the natural beauty surrounding the monastery is simply breathtaking. Be sure to visit the Holy Grotto.
Day 8: Travel to Lourdes, France, one of the greatest pilgrimage shrines in the world. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
Day 9: After breakfast, we celebrate Mass and then participate in the walking tour of Lourdes, where the group visits the places associated with the life of St. Bernadette. Dinner and overnight in Lourdes.
Day 10: We bid farewell to Lourdes as we board our flight back to the USA, arriving later that day.
